Laser Pillar

Description: The primary base defense for the Brotherhood. Using a "pop-up" deployment system, the main structure lies underground, the firing chamber only rising to fire. The Laser Pillar has the option to be upgraded with an Overcharger.

Description: The Overcharger is an upgrade to the Laser Pillar. Using a system of capacitors and secondary generators, as well as by-passing several fail-safes, provides more power to the laser cannon. While cheap, and not requiring additional space, it does have draw-backs. The additional power puts an extra strain on the firing crystals and systems, meaning additional cooltime is required, reducing its rate of fire, and also slightly damaging the system.
