| Description: With Nod's expansion of its airforce and deployment of numerous helicopter squadrons, it was soon realised that GDI needed an anti-aircraft infantry. The GDI Disk Thrower therefore was replaced by this unit. Instead of using bionic arm to throw grenades a launcher is used. This allows for two kinds of projectiles; a missile and a grenade. The missile is heat-seeking and armour piercing, making it an excellent weapon against aircraft. It is also good against armoured units. The grenade weapon has a high explosive but has reduced range and no tracking ability, similar to disks in that the grenades bounce for a short while before exploding. The grenades launch shrapnel which are excellent at cutting through unarmoured targets, making a great weapon against groups of infantry. It has a very slow rate of fire. |
